Anyone run a Harley golf cart as a 2wd atv?

I've got a golf cart spotted ,the money is right, but I want to raise it.They make kits for some of them but not Harley. I'm told its because they don't make the Harley cart anymore.
Anybody know anything about these carts?

Never seen or heard of one. Are you talking Harley as in "Harley-Davidson"

Harley-Davidson (as in motorcycle) did market gas-powered golf carts in the early 70's. The father of one of my college buddies owned the Harley dealership in Memphis and they sold them at that time. I don't know how long Harley was in that business, but I think it may have been a rather short-lived venture. Perhaps a Harley historian can add more.

Yep thats right.
the motorcycle folks.
They aren't made anymore.
They were a pretty good cart but harley just didn't make it on the golf course.
EZ go Club car and Yamaha are the biggies in golf cart conversion.
Big aggressive tires, lift kits and you have a 2wd ATV.
Because of my bad hip I don't like straddling a 4 wheeler. I get off hurting.
Can't walk right for a couple of days.

I drove a golf cart with mud tires on it down some muddy trails. The thing worked great.
I've never been an atv fan, but if I were to ever get something like that it would be a golf cart.
Though it couldn't handle swamps and such as a 4 wheel drive atv, it had a lot of pluses: more comfortable to ride/drive, quiet, easier to steer.

I did alot of research on this very subject and I can tell you they work great but there is nothing out there for a Harley. EZ-GO and Club Car have most of the accesories available with Yamaha have some also but more expensive. I just bought an 2001 EZ-GO and used it this deer season it works great and goes damn near anywhere I was really surprized were it would go. There are alot of differnt models available in all models so becarefull before you buy. Feel free to shoot me and e-mail and ask any questions. Also check out this web site they have a forum with a bunch of good guys on there and also sell everything you could think of for them. www.buggiesunlimited.com
I will try to post a pick of mine so you get an Idea of what you can do to them also check out ebay but I wouldnt buy of of it yet just use it for research.

I forgot to mention they are about 1/2 the price of a four wheeler after all the mods and can haul 4 adults. What a plus.

i have a 97 club car and it has a lift kit on it. i love it. they can put a lift kit on for around $800.00 installed. no complaints.
really gets around a lot better than before and more ground clearance, etc.
fun to drive.
