Man Calls In Bomb Threats To Get Days Off

Detectives Obtain Phone Records, Identify Cell Phone

Police said an employee at an Ann Arbor strip mall phoned in bomb threats so that he could get days off work.

The 24-year-old Ypsilanti man worked at a paper supply store in the strip mall and admitted he made the calls, police told the Ann Arbor News for a story.

A day-care center received a bomb threat on Friday and at least four other businesses received threats on Monday, the paper reported.

Detectives obtained phone records and identified the cell phone used to make the calls, according to the paper.

Police dogs searched the strip mall, but found no evidence of a bomb.

The man is being held at the Washtenaw County Jail and is expected to be charged with making a false bomb threat.

Ann Arbor is, for the most part, a Mecca for some of the most liberal Michigan residents. As such, this kind of behavior doesn't surprise me in the least.

I'm sure there will be those who support or defend his actions, because He's a victim (of something or someone), and he is not responsible for his actions......

This crap has got to stop.

I've got to get the heck out of this darn state!
