Now that I got ya'lls attention..lol....

Me and a co-werker was dreamin bout hot weather and hittin the river fer some catfishin..and I piped up the best thing bout summer..no dern clothes! i.e Daisy Dukes and tops that weigh less than an ounce.

Well, that girl went into a whirl, sayin that Daisy Dukes are outta style and is an embarrasement to wear em. Well, after remarkin that iffin my butt was as big as hers, I wouldnt be wearin em either..I kindly reminded her that it's a summer thing, and they're wonderful fer fishin. See, they serve a purpose. Not only are they high enuf to where you can jump in haul that fish to the boat w/o gittin em wet, but they also are good fer the tan line too!

She didnt see it that way...so anyways..settle this here argument..are Daisy Dukes IN er OUT??

Not true wrenchman. The wrapper must corellate to the size of the package, as Lilred mentioned. LMAO. I think they would be in Lilred.

Okay, this may seem like a really dumb question but...What the heck are Daisy Dukes? I gather they are some form of skimpy female type attire but other than that I have no clue.

 :D

Daisy Dukes are cutoff jean shorts that show a portion of the bottom buttocks. On the right woman, they are definitely in. On the wrong woman, they are definitely out, and could potentially lead to vomitting by viewers.

You guys call them Daisy Dukes? Wow, fancy name for a set of cutoffs. lmao

Yup, gotta agree, on the right butt they ain't bad. On the wrong butt it's...well...http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Thud.gif

Chuckle, I like the way Gspsonny said that, and it's abosolutely true.

Lilred, who cares if it's "instyle" or not, wear what _you_ like :)

Icequeen, yes it's jkind of a fancy name, but it all came from a TV series, called " the dukes of hazzard" "Daisy Duke" was one of the characters, who wore those skimpy shorts, so they get called "daisey duke's"

But back to original question..if it's someone like..oh...hrmmm..Valigator, Lilred, Catherine Bach, Liz Hurly etc etc...they will _always_ be IN

on someone like...say...Rosanne, or Devine...well...i think the mental picture speaks for inself :P

Scientifically speaking, this discussion would be much easier to follow and contribute too, if visual aids were incorporated.

that is awful! and a T-bar too boot!
well i think we got to re-name em'. if ya saw the reunion you'd know that ole daisy has gained an inch or two.
yes on the right rear they look great. but 400lbs of chewed bubble gum kinda make you think that the cut-off was more of a splitting of seams than the expert use of siscors.

Lilred, Icequeen, Valigator, and all:

Daisy Dukes, and their Austro-Tyrolean counterpart (YES they have something like that in the "Old Country" Check this eBay listing-->)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4001&item=3950059810&tc=photo

are best worn by someone with, well, not TOO much "junk in the trunk" None of this 40#/20 kilogrammes of chewed bubblegum, thank you very much! Likewise goes for the preferred dress style of Former Yugoslavian "Turbo Folk" pop divas,

The RUSSIAN MINISKIRT! I'll find a pic & post if anyone's curious.
