I have a Marlin .22 LR, semi-auto, model 60, and am having trouble with it jamming while chambering new rounds. It ejects the empties fine but the new rounds get fed in almost vertically. I've sprayed the action down with breakfree but the results are the same. Does anybody have a suggestion of what is causing this problem? Thanks

Coyote:

I had the same problem with my Marlin 60 .22. All I did to solve the problem was completely dissassemble the firearm, including the action, thoroughly clean and lubricate it (with Rem Oil, not Breakfree), and reassemble. It has worked like a cahrm ever since.

In my cleaning, I always use Hoppe's #9 and Rem Oil. Personally, I am not a Breakfree person, but to each his own.

I hope you have good results. Let me know how it works out.

Welcome to Huntchat CoyoteCabin and Duffy :D

I would ditto what CoyoteCabin said. Break that sucker down and give it a good cleaning. I had a problem with my buckmark feeding in late spring. I took it apart and gave it a good cleaning and it worked fine ever since. ;)
