I found some pics of my reloading bench and the cabinet above it. I bet none of you have a bench that is this jacked up..

Actually it is about 150% cleaner now. It is way to hard to be safe when reloading on a bench that is this junked up..I just thought some of you might say "Holy Crap Look at That Mess" or some might say " Wow, that looks just like mine":D :D :D

There is one more shelf above the last one in this pic that has all my dies on it..

Hey.. that one looks clean compared to mine!! LOL

Sometimes mine gets bad.. it always depends on how busy I get, and how much I need to get some rounds loaded up.

H Hank,
What are those big ole cartridges on the right of the bench in the background? They look HUGE in the pic......

Its not that messy. Mine looks worse at times too. I try to keep it right, it is safer, but it dont always happen that way. :D

Hank,
I just wish my bench was as clean as yours. It takes me about 15 min. of digging to find the bench. I have a vault that is 10 ft. by 20 ft. and I think you have more room on your bench than I have in my whole vault. What is your secreet to keeping it so clean??????????

Hello Hank,

It looks cluttered, that's all. I looked at the pictures closely, and it seems you are in dire need of drawer space, that's all. I solved this with a 4 drawer filing cabinet, one that locks. Most of us are rather limited in our available space and become virtual magicians
in space management. Best wishes.

If your talking about the cartridges that are to the left of the YELLOW Top oil bottle on the small shelf?? Those are just 6mm cartridges.. They are seated WAY out of the case just of the lands of that gun. I think they just look REALLY big because they are closer in the picture. The cases behind those just to the back of that little shelf are 7 mag cases.. I guess it's just an optical illusion:confused:

Your right cal.. The reason I posted this thread is because I read a post further down on this forum that showed a pic of a Rolling Tool chest(like the crafstman one I ALMOST gave away:eek: )

Here is apic that woodchucker posted
http://photos.imageevent.com/b_cmurphy/picsforposting/websize/CompactLoadingBench.JPG

that someone used to store all their dies, primers and everything else that would fit in the drawers. I really like the bench because it is built from cabinet grade 1 1/8" plywood(nice and sturdy) and the open cabinet above the bench is made out of oak. I built these in about 1995 and I think I'll probably have them for a long time..I figured that MORE than less of ya'll would be able to relate to the MESSY state of my bench. If I load for someone else or if I'm working up a NEW load I will clean it up prior to loading...BUT if I'm loading some of my rounds that I pretty much know by heart I just look up the data in my "Favorites" book and set the "Culver" powder measurer on my powder dispenser and load away.

With all that said, I am going to be re-orginizing my entire room to fit the Rolling Tool Chest and put a lot of my stuff in there..I will take a few pics when it is done..Adios' for now..

The rolling tool chest sounds like a great idea. I just may look into that one. Thanks for the idea and best wishes.

Great idea, guys!

There's a discount hardware store 1 town over from me having a sale today and that looks to be just the thing Thee Mad One needs to reduce the clutter on HIS bench.

(has a really big shelf down below but per Spike-1 who I got the bench from am using it to store bullets and boxes of buckshot to aid in stability. Since TMR uses a lot of cast bullets purchased in bulk from National Bullet, Laredo, etc -- plus the occasional hollowpoint/hollowbase style I have to cast myself--all that's down there is lead alloy in semi-aerodynamic shapes!)

I have built some real nice benches with lots of storage room to sell if anyone is interested. 6' long w/ 2 base cabinets each having a drawer, door, and an adjustable shelf, upper adjustable shelving and a solid maple butcher block countertop. Very sturdy and easy to clean (or keep clean) If anyone is interested in photo's and details, email me at sandenwood@centurytel.net. I have sold some and will be producing some smaller benches in the next few weeks to market.
