Man, I hope that LilRed had an easy weekend working at Lowe's.

Or she's gonna light into you like a hornet in your knickers!

So, that's what happened to all my kitchen knives? I'll be darned.
I've only noticed the shoes when they go sailing by. Incidently my wife thinks toenail clippers make great nail pullers. Best wishes.

A shoe for a hammer is better than some things that could be used.
A dial caliper for a wrench is the worst I've seen so far.
You wouldn't believe how many of our butter knives are bent at the tip.
If ya get her a tool box with some basic tools she'll use a butter knife to open the tool box.
Ya just can't win.

Sorta on topic.....

I had a guy tell me about a radio show where they were talking about flying saucers. Some guy called in and said when he was partying alot, he saw flying saucers, along with flying plates, dishpans, pots, pans, silverware and alot of other things around the house.....
:D

I cannot keep my wife out of my tool box. I find my tools in kitchen drawers, sewing cabinets, in the make up drawer in the bathroom(don't ask). The only time I got angry about it she used the female secret weapon, TEARS. Ity just kills me when my wife cries, I just let it go now.:(

i have tools all threw the house i have lerned to deal with it but what gets me is when i go out side and the dog brings me my torq wrench.
It seams the kids needed them i dont know for what but i found that lucy likes to bring me the shinny things.
there was even a time i was rebuilding the trans on a truck i went into the house i came back out and couldnt find my 9/16 socket i went outside and she was playing with it like a ball.
Side note dog droll will rust crome and any toll can be used as a hammer by the wife they like the heavy tools

My fiance is terrible with tools. I just taught her how to put the air line in the pneumatic brad nailer last night. That took a little explaining. At least she didn't pull the trigger once the line was in. Somehow, I don't think I will have to worry about any of my tools being out of place for quite some time.

You may want to keep your fiance away from your pneumatic nailer if she's not too handy- I've seen alot of pics circulating of late with folks with airgun nails in places they weren't meant to be! ;)

I feel real sorry, for you guys. I found a great midwest farm girl, gets her hands dirty, and works hard at everything, she's real good about putting things back. On the farm, repairs had to be quick or ya missed the planting/harvesting seasons. I'd let her work on just about anything, but my guns or bow.

Ya'll are a trip..cept fer earsplittin..he must not have no wife lol
I aint guilty of either of the above, but I am very guilty of the drill thing..I used to have a hand grinder fer makin sausage, and I'd take the handle off, put a socket on it, and away I'd go..along w/ half the meat slung upside the wall LOL
Oh well...I reckon I aint the only one guilty of pullin a "hey ya'll watch this!" ;) :D

My dad did the same thing as you Lilred, but with a tomatoe grinder.

Funny how it turned out too. When we were kids, we had to turn that tomatoe grinder handle by hand for almost a week during the summer. As soon as we are in high school and too busy to do it because we are working summer jobs, my dad cuts the handle off and attaches a heavy duty drill to it. What used to take days ended up taking only a couple of hours. I was pissed off.
