I've got a Bud that just fell heir to a shore nuff "Long Tom" 12ga. scattergun. It's in great shape but the snap on fore end is missing. It's one that was made by Cresent Arms for Sears and "Rare-back" back in the '30's and '40's then Savage/Stevens made them for a time. I don't think he will ever shoot it, just wants it all together. Just wondering if any of you folks might have a fore-end laying about that would fit. We've tried Numerich Arms and none to be found. Thanks for lookin...............
Take care and have a good one.

my dad has one of those old Long Tom shotguns that belonged to his father. Poor guns was definetly used and abused by My Grandad. If has little to no blueing left on it but the barrel has so much nickel in it that it never rusts. Dad just has it sitting in his closet for a keepsake. Dad thinks the barrel is worn thin so he won't shoot it. the lock and everything else it plenty tight. It's just an old plane jane Looooong barrel single shot 12 gauge I don't even know what make and model it is but it is sort of a family treasure to us. Dad's brother has the double barrel that belonged to Poppy. Back then the guns were definetly no frills and made for huntin'
