In Montana. I want to stay on the property in a tent for a night or two but I think the wife is a little afraid of the rattlers and bears the real estate lady told her about. Idunno I might take my son and a couple sleeping bags and a tarp from wally world and go spend the night on the property and let the wife and daughter get a hotel room.
We are going out in July so I am sure the weather will be great out there in Big Sky Country

DaMadman,
I completely forgot that you bought property out there. I knew that you were thinking about retiring out there, but I just forgot that you had already bought a place. Look who has all the money now!!!!!! LOL You're out buying properties and SLuger is out buying monster sized boats.
Just take a good rifle along with you if you are going to sleep out there. A shotgun might be good for the rattlers and the two legged animals.

I'm feeling ya! Congrats on the new acquisition!
Wife and I just bought a new home on 7 wooded acres on the mountain ourselves. Deer and turkey in the front yard/woods almost daily! :D Kids got plenty of room to roam with the dogs! ;)

I told the wife that one of the first stops after we get off the plane is gunna be Wally World or a Pawn Shop. I figure it'll be easier to buy a shotgun or rifle after I get out there and pawn it before I come back then it would be to do all the paper work to take mine out on the plane. Hahaha

It is 15 miles outside of Helena in Lewis and Clark County. It is 22.24 acres and backs up to about twice as much BLM (Bureau of Land Magmnt) property

I have family in Billings but I've only been up near Helena a couple times. I've heard it's really pretty in the winter. How about some pics?
