This is Tagger. Hes my new hunting dog. Its not hunting season yet, but hes a seasoned veteren on tolling coyotes, trapline dog for coyote and badger, coons, bears, lions and even some bird hunting. Guess you would say hes and equal opportunity dog.

Thanks Nulle.

This is my first Airedale, but I have been around them some and seen them in action, even this dog on video. They are excellent hunting dogs.

I plan to use him on coyotes, mainly as a tolling/decoy dog while calling. Possibly on trapped coyotes as well, trailing up and baying draglines. And coons. He should be a hammer on coons. He will tree and no problem with taking care of wounded ones.

I have an offer to go to South Dakota for phesant with some guys this fall. I guess he would do fine there as well for finding dead birds and maybe tracking live ones.

Your new pup looks like a Redline.

Sorry I didnt see this earlier, Dog Yeller.

Yeah hes a Redline. I got him out of Arizona, but his bloodlines come from Henry Johnson in Kentucky, orginally.

Hes a hunting fool. I have had him out several times since that last post and Im really, really pleased with him. Well behaved, well mannered and hunt drive that does not stop.

I cant wait till fall to get into some serious hunting. :)

Thats a good lookin dog you got as well. Using him as a retriever? The guy I got this dog from has one, looks alot like yours, that he used to bird hunt and retrieve doves.

This dog has done some phesant and quail hunting. I dont know how much I will use him for that. Probably tolling coyotes and treeing/killing coons will be his main job. Not to mention being my best friend. My truck hasnt left the house since I got him hardly, without him in it. We are together 24/7.

From what I have seen of Airedales, with all the personality they have, they do better with more contact. They are a 24/7 dog.
