I enjoy your pictures!

I recall that an SR-71 Blackbird made an emergency landing somewhere in Bode (Bodo?) back in 1984, August 14th if I recall correctly.

Thanks for the great pics! Reminds me of my 2 trips I've made to Norway. I find Norway one of the most beautiful places I've ever been fortunate to see.

Wife and I spent 2 weeks in Norway yrs back before we had the children and are planning on taking one of the working ship cruises some day.

Again thanks!;)

I've got to get to Norway someday. My wife & I are both from families of Norwegian immigrants and I'd like to go see where our great grandparents used to live. My grandma used to keep in touch with some relatives but we've since lost touch.

When I saw your photo of the WWII memorial it reminds me of how Norway played a part in that war that most haven't heard of, an important part.

Beautiful photos. I'm glad things are going well in Norway, my grandmother told stories of how tough things were in the 1800's when the family had to leave to come to America. I'd like to come and see the scenery and visit with the people.

Great pictures.

I was in Sweden in 1996 and one of our stops was Riksgransen. It was first week in June and there was still snow 3-4 feet deep and the lake near the ski lodge was frozen over. I guess its the whole thing about being above the Artic circle. There was enough sun light at 2am to see without a light.

After several days, we took a train ride west and were dropped in the middle of nowhere. We hiked several miles down the mountain to the fjord. We took a boat ride out to Narvik. Had a great time in this city on the water.

I hope to someday visit Norway and Sweden again with my wife. I was in several cities that are twice the age of America. Enjoyed the history of that part of the world.
