I am looking for a stock maker here in California. I have a stock that was purchesed from Micro Fit in L.A. It just needs to be finished . The stock has been in my shop for 8 years and I just think it is time to get it finished. You think.

Might help to have a few more details. Just what do you mean by "getting finished"? Is it doing the outside finish, or are you talking the final inletting and fitting as well?
As far as a gunsmith in Kali? I haven't a clue. I left in 1970, never to return. You might get a copy of the GUN DIGEST. I believe they have quite a few gunsmiths listed there. Then again, you just might find one in the Yellow Pages of your phone book. Any decent gun shop might know of where a good gunsmith might be located as they may send their work to him.
If you're willing to go out of state, I can recommend Randy Lawson of the Harry Lawson Company here in Tucson. He's done three rifles for me so far and his work is excellent. He's not what you could call inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

Elkermarty,
I own a small high-grade blank company. These are the three stock finishers I recommend in my brochures. A good "in the wood" oil finish is very time consuming.
Best of luck,
Ed
