A friend of mine recently received an older 22 revolver from a friend. It has a 22 Mag cylinder and he would prefer acquiring a 22LR cylinder for it. Also someone at some point has done some work on the trigger and it has such a hair trigger it is really not even safe to use. The following is on the barrel of the gun,
ARMI FLLI Tamfoglio Brescia Italy. Does anyone have any information on the gun or a good site to go and look for more information? Thanks for the help.

Unless that model originally offered a .22LR cylinder, it'll be cheaper to buy a Ruger Single-Six than to have a cylinder made for that Italian revolver. The bore diameter may be wrong, as well. The .22 WMR uses a nominal .224" bore, while the .22LR uses a .222" one. Revolvers with both cylinders often use a bore diameter of .223" as a compromise.

And then there's the safety issue. That should be gunsmithed back to a safe condition before ANYTHING else is done. If (and that's a big IF) parts are obtainable, it may be hard to find a 'smith that will even touch it.
