Well, I made it. My knee held up. My workouts paid off and I had a pretty enjoyable hunt. One problem, no rams in the area. We hiked and glassed our rear ends off for 8 days w/o see a ram. We did see 9 ewes and lambs, but nothing else.
Maybe next year, I'll have to see how my school schedule pans out. Here are a couple of pictures.

Hey Kusko,
Glad to see you were able to get out and try. I saw lots of rams and ewes including some realy nice 7/8 ones. They probaly had the rings to be legal but I am not that good at guessing what is a legal ring and what is a dirty part of the horn. Several rams were taken out of the drainage behind my camp and none of the three had the full curl but they were a 8, 9 and a realy heavy just over half un-broomed 11 year old that everyone swore up an down was not legal but the Troopers came in and checked it out and counted 10 rings plus the lamb tips making it 11 in their book. After that incident I decided I would try to get closer and count rings, the only thing was by this time they were hunted so hard the rams all but disapeared.
Oh well, I did get my moose on opening day after hunting a hard hour and 45 minutes(HEHE) which made for a realy relaxing hunting trip.
Anyone else get their moose?

Those pictures are awesome. Sometimes, I wish I was born in Alaska. I bet you guys don't have much trouble finding land to hunt on.
Kusko,
I don't think there would be any way for me to pack all the stuff you did, even if I worked out for 10 years straight. That pack of yours is huge.
