I've noticed a new rifle maybe someone can give me info on. It's the Stevens Mod 200 in both long and short action. If anyone in here has used one, let me know what you thought-- accuracy, reliability, finish, ect ......
Thanks for your info ...

It's brand new, so I doubt you'll find anyone here with any firsthand experience with the gun. The action looks strikingly similar to a Savage, and may be a copy of it. Shouldn't be too long before a few writers have wrung them out, and give us glowing reports. I'd steer clear for a while until others have put a fair amount of field time in with them.

It is just the older savage without the accu trigger. I own 3 of them. One in 7mag , 223, and 7-08

Based on modern Savage actions I believe. Haven't shot one, but it's too cheap to be all that great. For the price, it was just in outdoor life for one of the top 5 rifles under 500 dollars.
