Here in the Western Dakotas, outside the Northern Black Hills, they are still pretty thick. But with the pending cold front coming in, I would think they should be moving down your way before too long.

What a waste of time this year for doves. I been scouting and seeing nothing from north to south. My brother and i went out the first day of dove season and shot down 7. We saw about 15 fly but worthless for a whole day. We went again 3 days later and saw nothing. Man i can't wait for duck season. Stupid gas price and stupid doves are making this year seem horrible. Cmon so much greens yet not dove

Lots of doves still in Minnesota, I think you'll get your turn when we get a good cold snap. It's been in the 90's for weeks and there's plenty of feed and water. A good cold snap and they'll be down your way.

We just cooled off last night dropped into the high 40's . It would be nice for couple more times since rooster season doesn't open for another 6 weeks. I took my 8 year old daughter with me last saturday and all i seen was 4 in three diff. places . Spent 35.00 bucks on gas and 4 birds was a joke , of course when they flew over i was busy explaining what it's all about to her they were half way past when i seen em'. So for her first time out she didn't get much of an expierance. It was nice though , just the two of us watching the sunrise. Thanks for the update .
