Well, I guess it's part pistol and part rifle. It was a Browning Buckmark pistol with a shoulder stock and a long, heavy barrel. I REALLY liked the way that thing felt and handled. Felt like it was made just for me. Only problem is here in Pa. we can't use .22 semi's for anything. That thing would have made a sweet little squirrel rifle. Maybe Santa will be nice this year and one will appear under the tree.:D Anyone have one or ever fire one?

Well, I have shot a friends Browning target 22. It was pretty accurate, very reliable feeding, and the cheap, quick shooting ammo makes it real fun. The thing I didn't like about this is the "looks" of it. It performs great, but I think they should've made a longer barrel for it because it has a stock...don't like the looks of "carbines" that much.

I have seen and drooled all over them.
Find one with the carbon fiber barrel at 3.5 pounds and you will fall over.
For a pack/tree rat/coon dispatcher what more could you need than a 3.5 pound auto loaded .22.
I don't think you need a long barrel with a scope or reddot sight.
I used to believe that long barreled .22's shot more accurately. It seems the longer sight radius of the iron sights seemed to help me aim a bit better. I believe about 16 inches is perfect for 22 rifle barrels.
