Just got in from San Antonio and good to be home . Might go back in later on but need rest right now and that storm was going to hit a little too close for me to hang around down there.
Met some nice folks and some not so nice but we learn from good and bad in everything on these deals.

Thanks Billy and yes it will help lol. My friend wants me to leave for Miss. the end of next month to run a big animal Shelter there but at this point I really am not ready for that yet but we will see.
I miss the little kids I left behind in the Shelter in San Antonio but what can ya do. Wished I could have taken them all home with me but not an option I guess. Well with the Red Cross, Salvation Army and FEMA folks still there I am sure they will be ok.
Words and pictures can not descibe what some of these folks went through .
I met a lady who was a wrighter of books ect and she was stranded on that overpass and the things she told me were beyond words and NO person should ever have to go through. She said her kids told her she should wright about her story and she advised no words could ever tell the story and she was right.
I met a Vet from Nam who literly fell apart when I was talking to him and it goes on and on. I am just very glad to be home and thankful of my friends and family that they have never been through a thing like this.
They can kick each other around all they want in the political football field and it don't really matter to me as it boils down to the "people" that were there.
Nulle, I'm glad you're back safe and sound.
Thank you for the work you did down there.

Nulle First off I want to wish you a great home coming, because I'm sure you deserve it. Secondly, irregardless of anything written about who's fault, my fault, your fault, nobody's fault, you was there taking care of business and it's people like you that makes this country what it is, and I for one want to thank you for all the tireless and sometimes thankless work that you did but didn't have to do. You're the man.

Nulle, sorry to hear about your dad. If he's having heart trouble get him to the North Central Heart Institute in Sioux Falls. Best heart hospital West of the Mayo Clinic.
