Thought it would be nice to see what everyone looks like on HC, along with your significant other that we talk about.
This is my ugly mug and my real name is Troy. I live North of Sturgis, SD. I'm about 40 miles from where Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota come together.

Just took this snap-shot from the webcam.
This is what a Petey looks like on a Friday after a nice long week of work and only 1 cup of coffee in him. Notice the grizzled, haven't shaved in 3 days look which is common during the hunting seasons. He'd rather have wiskers than wear a face mask while sitting in the tree. The slight smirk on the face because he knows he's going hunting deer with his new fangled muzzleloader in the morning and coon the next evening.....and he knows he only has 6 more hours and he's outta here until Monday!

Hello all,
This topic brings up an interesting question. I have an avatar (picture of myself) on my computer. Can someone tell me how to transfer it to this site so it'll be with my signature? Man I'd certainly appreciate it. Maybe there's instructions on here somewhere to tell me how to do it. Thanks and best wishes.

You will need to upload your picture to an online host. If you don't already have an account, at say photobucket.com or tinypic.com (I think thats the URL) you can try one of the above, or I reccommend sitesled.com.
Once you get an account, you simply upload the file unto your online hosting site. This will give it a URL that will allow you to share it with darn near everyone!
Go into your huntchat.com account where you can edit your signature and paste the URL into your signature box. You need to put the image tags around it, which are simply [img] with the last image tag having a backslash between the bracket and the img (to close the URL that the board will open and display as an image).
Clear as mud? My job here is done:D
Alternatively, I could probably host the image for you, but Im sure once you share one picture... you will have to show us all of them. I know you got some good ones:D
TreeDoc
10-26-2005, 09:46 AM
That's not all necessary. Just go to the User Control Panel and then "Edit Options", scroll down to the bottom and you will see a box that allows you to attach a file from your computer, it's just like adding an attachment to a post. You might have to resize the image but other than that your done.
EDIT: I re-read your post and I see you want it in your signature...never mind....refer to Ich's post!

After viewing that first Pic....you and I, we gotta have sit down with your tailor, Man! :D ;)
In the infamous words of "Carl", Homer Simpson's new personal secretary, pointing harshly at Homer who is being fitted for a new suit, "YOU...let it all hang out!"
Now pointing at the tailor who is on his knees at Homer's side, "YOU....hide ALL of it!!!" :D

The story behind that... I bought those shirts on E-Bay and the lady claimed they were a mens size 20. That pic was taken as evidence that she was flat out WRONG. A size 20 dress shirt is what I wear, and those were NOT. Then I thought it was funny enough to keep.

Hey thanks skeeter. This one was a little one compared to the one I shot last year. I shot a 27 inch wide 6x7 last year and my uncle shot a 28 inch wide 5x6 this year. We hunted really hard the past couple years and passed up a lot of nice buck and it really paid off for us. Hope to get a big elk this next year.
