Cool Pics!
Nice Can, too. Still haven't bagged one yet.
How much more season do you have up there?

This weekend will probably be our last. We are going to pull our camp this weekend. We might do some local shooting, but the ice is not far behind. Like I said before, we had an absolutely fabulous year. More birds than ever.

Are most of the birds still in their eclipse plumage? I assume that most of those are not hens.

Most of the ducks are in eclipse phase. Our ducks don't start turning until late Sept. early Oct. We do shoot a lot of hens because of the eclipse phase. You can't tell what they are until they get in your hand.

I don't know if it would be as much fun shooting birds that are not in color. Then again, I'll take whatever hunting I can get.

It is a real treat to get a few later in the year that have color. It is fun when the limit is 10, possession is 30, you can shoot 3 swans a season and 3 million ducks nest in your area. :)

Now you are making me sick. I don't think I can shoot 10 of anything except snow geese, whitetail does, crows and groundhogs.

Cool Kusko!!! When does your season start? Must be great not sitting around waiting for the ducks to arrive.

Our season starts September 1. No we don't have to wait for them, but we do shoot a pile of juvenile birds. The down part is that it freezes fast here. We will be solid by next week.
