Took my nephew pheasant hunting

He is 32 and never shot at a long-tailed bird. We went to a regulated shooting ground and hunted over Springer Spaniels. It rained steadily during the entire morning and we got birds and got soaked. He now says he prefers pursing pheasants over deer hunting. All the best...

I prefer upland hunting to any other hunting other than dove hunting. I love dove hunting. It truly sucks that we don't have any decent upland hunting in this state.

Hence, I waterfowl hunt, which I also love. Just not as much as doves or upland. I think I shot my first pheasant when I was 10 years old, maybe 9.

Big game hunting is fun for me too, but just not as much as bird hunting.

I am glad to hear that your nephew likes it that much.
