Anyone have one out there?

I absolutely love mine, but it is as tempermental as monday is long. It hates 90% of .22 ammo out there, but it is very accurate. I have the 5" barrel and my father has one with the 7". Mine likes CCI MiniMags and PMC sidewinders and hates everything else. My father's can't stand either of these, instead it loves the cheapo lead bullets in the milk cartons. As usual, I get the one with the expensive tastes. When I go to visit over Turkey day, we are going to swap barrels and see if the ammo preferences swap with them. With my luck, we will make em both mad and we wont be able to shoot anything out of either!

No experience with the S&W 22a, but I bought a new Ruger MkIII and had it about three months. The thing jammed constantly. I brought it back and was advised to shop around for ammo it likes, but damned if I had $ or patience for that. I got ride of it. My grandfather always had a huntsman or woodsman and I don't recall any problems with them. Next .22lr I buy will be a wheel gun. Good luck with your 22A.
