I thought that Rocky or someone else might know of a source for the SST bullets pictured in one of the big gun books last month. The article was about the S&W 460. I think they were .452 diam and were red poly tipped. I don't have the magazine any longer as I usually pass them on to the others to read. I thought about stuffing those pills into my 454 to see what kind of damage they would inflict on the local varmints. I'm not even sure if the twist would be right in my Ruger, but without a source, I'm lost. I looked at the Hornady web site but they don't seem to be listed there yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I just did some looking around on hornady's site here is what i found.

The SST's seem to be primarily rifle, shotgun, and BP bullets, i found only one type that was pistol (the S&W 460) but it was preloaded.

go to hornady's site, use the search feature at the top right side, and search for "sst"

Rocky or one of the others might know more, but since hornady is the manufacturer, if they don't show the bullets available, then it's probably going to be hard to find them, through normal channels.
