Are they any good. I know that S&W had to pay Glock for patent infringements on this model.
Aimsurplus has them, Police Trade-ins for $219
Sounds like a bargain to me. I think I am tired of passing up good deals then kicking myself later. I think I am going to talk to someone with an FFL and see if I can get one ordered before they are all gone

My security license instructor has one of these. They are a piece of crud.
If I were you I would save a few hundred more bucks and get a real Glock. Trust me, Its well worth the wait, and frustration of saving $.
Dont sweat passing up a good deal, another WILL come around. There is more guns out there than people who really want them.;) You might find something at your gun show coming up. At least you can fondle the S&W, and see for yourself if you like it.

thanks for the advice, guess I will pass on this
cousin had a 380, like you saw it in a used case at a price he couldnt say no to. never shot it much just carried it, couldnt get crap for it on resale, im told by some one on another site that the way they are cheaper is that a lot of the metal in the gun (slide) is a zinc alloy of some sort, far in-superior to steel

Ahhhhh...the S&W Stigma!
That gun has had a bad rapp since day one. I can't say that I have heard about it being a POS, it's just stigma I guess. I have never seen any aftermarket trigger configurations offered for it like you see for the Glunk so sweetening it up might be tough given it's a striker fired pistol.
A couple hundred bucks ain't too bad if it isn't all beat to death though.
