The Hodgdon book allows up to 59 grains H4350 with 165 grain bullets, and long COL. I often run 58 grains, which is a bit more conservative. Measured pressures are not excessive at 58 grains. So, net of nets, you might be able to go up a bit if you are so inclined.

yeah iv found that out recently

the nosler #5 has the max at 57.5 but others are higher.

im going to the acuracy. i may end up going up or down from my max loads or bumping the bullet arround in the case.

ended up working dark to dark today.

was very bummed that i didnt get a chance to burn some powder this evening.

guess theres tommorrow

Yeah, my last big task of the day was supposed to start at 10:00, and be over before lunch.... thought I'd get to the range this afternoon. But, like you, no luck. Nearly dark by the time I got disengaged.

I run 57.5 grains of H4350 under 180 grain bullets, and it's fine. That's my elk round. My 165 loads are for more middle size critters, so 58 grains is fine. It shoots reliable 1" 5-shot groups for me, and that is adequate.

Using CCI 200 primers.

We do consulting work... process improvement stuff. So, there are times I'm working at home, and times that I'm all over the planet.
