Does anyone out here have any FIRST HAND KNowledge of the 257 J.D.J. cartridge and it's loads?

I have a 7mm JDJ, same case and about the same bullet weights, 100 & 120 gr.

WHat barrel length do you have?
What powder seems to be the favorite for the cartridge?

I have an SSK 12.75" barrel, I got the best accuracy (although its a bit slow for this case) from IMR 4350, this was with 120 gr bullets. If I can find it I have the original sheet from ssk that gives all the data from Jim Jones himself so if I can find it would you want me to send it to ya?

Ridgerunner, Thanks for the help. Mine is a 20" SSK Bbl and I have been a 4350 fan for years so I'll just see what it will do for me. I do all of my load development right on the range so I will now be sure to include 4350 in my "range loading kit".
