We have the hapless Packers next. It sure will do my heart good to give them the beatdown they deserve.

Especially after seeing the Colts trounce the Steelers last night. I've said it all year, much to the dismay of my football friends, a good quarterback like Manning that can throw good timing routes to his receivers behind a decent offensive line will rip the Bears secondary to shreds. I believe that to be our weak link in an otherwise decent defense. Now, as far as the Bears offense...
I too am looking forward to a good spankin' of the Pack after being crushed for so many years by Favre!

I have been a long time Bears fan. Less in the last decade or so. Of course I am a Steelers fan, and Pats fan as well as the Bucs. But the Colts are my hometown boys and I have to support them whole hog.

The Colts are definitely a force to be reckoned with but, overall, I'm real happy with the way Da Bears have come together and started winning games. Kyle Orton is having an incredible year and his offense seems to be coming together. Their defense has always been great but I agree with Steverino on their secondary but that too seems to be getting better. If Coach Smith can continue doing whatever he's doing I think they'll regain some of what they had back in the mid 80s. I became a Bears fan back in '85 (also when I started getting into football) when they were spanking almost everyone they went up against. And it wasn't just that they won all but one of their games; they had great chemistry on and off the field and they looked like they really enjoyed playing the game and not just the paycheck like so many players now. I'm not from anywhere near Chicago but I've been a Bears fan since '85 and will continue to be.
