I was just given an old scope,an old mossberg range finder 22 scope.I'm told it was made in the 40's.Does any one know anything about these scopes.I would appritiate any input.;) Ken.

Hi Saw your question about RANGE FINDER SCOPE, these scopes were made from 1938 to 1942, they were made under the MOSSBERG name and also for MONTGOMERY WARDS, they originally sold for $10.95

It looks in pretty good shape.I've contacted mossberg since I first posted.The crosshairs are there ,but suposed to be 2 verticle hairs one for the rangefinder.That one is broke.They told me if in desent condition,be worth $150 with broken hair worth about half that. Here are some pictures.
