I've purchased a Gerber folding saw several years ago, I was so pleased with it's performance that I bought both my sons, and several close hunting buddies one. It's the inter-changeable blades, course teeth on one blade, for cutting limbs and branches, fine teeth for cutting bone,(sawing antlers from skull, leg bones of deer & bear. It's just a great all around items, and you can buy replacement blades whenever needed. I always carry it when bowhunting and using a climbing tree stand. It zips through braches like butter.

Couldn't agree with you more. My first game saw was the smaller size Wyoming saw (in nylon case). It works great too, but the Gerber Exchange-a-Blade saw is so much lighter. Now I carry it in my pack and keep the Wyoming saw in my truck or at camp. We've used the Gerber for several deer and two elk so far.

I use the Gerber folding saw set with the shears in the cordura pack with the belt-loop. During early bowhunting season, it's on my belt as I'm clearing shooting lanes from any possible perches.

Later in the season, it's usually relagated to my daypack.

It's a nice set that can handle whatever I have thrown at it.
