25.06 reloads too hot ?

A friend of mine gave me some of his reloads and says they are loaded with imr 4350 . 57 grains of powder pushing a 100 grain bt ... to much ?

You may smile and say "Thanks anyway." But avoid this guy's homemade bombs as if they were...well, BOMBS.

Someone here has a sig line that says "Reloads are like underwear, be careful whose you borrow." That's very, very wise.

Welcome to the Forum; I see this is only your 3rd post and you came to the right place with your question.

You got excellent advice so far. I would suggest you buy a good, current reloading manual put out by Lyman, Speer, Hornady or Sierra and CHECK any future reloads your buddy may want to give to you. How do you KNOW how many grains of powder he/she put into those cartridge cases? I do not accept handloads from anyone.

nosler shows a max charge of 53.5grs of h4350 and 51grs of imr4350( couldnt remember wich powder he used)

this is kinda irrelivent but on the h4350 can it shows 58.5grs with 75gr vmax. ive ran loads this hot useing h4350 and 75gr bullets i consider the loads alittle hot and acuracy down a hole lot.

that does seem like hot load pushn a 100gr bullet.
