I got a T-shirt and pager. My SAR application was accepted a couple weeks ago. I can start attending the training and going on searches. I'm pretty excited about it. I'm also hoping to start the paramedic program at ISU-Boise in the fall. Lotsa changes that I'm real excited about. :D :D :D :D :D

sar work is a lot like bombs on aircraft. you hope the resource never has to be used. but when we do need it, it is used with vigor.

Nah, too much running:D I did think about giving it a shot when I was going through basic but then I heard about how long their training is and how often they are TDY and I didn't figure that would be a good way to start my marriage. I've seen them work, though, and have mucho respect for them...a real good bunch of guys.
