Utter frustration!!!
Handgun hunting for javelina is very popular out here in the southwest. I generally prefer a 6-inch barrel revolver but have also used longer barrels, including a 10-inch TC Contender. I also prefer bandolier-type shoulder holsters since they are more easily removed than the "under-the-armpit" secret agent types.
The problem I've found with 3 types I've tried is that the securing strap is VERY NOISY. They use either a snap, which sounds like a drum or velcro, which produces the familiar tearing sound. Neither is helpful when game is nearby.
Does anyone know of better designs that eliminate this problem? Would the manufacturers listen if we complained to them? Your comments are requested.
