New York Deer Kill Totals

New York has reported deer kiill totals for the 2005 season.
The total deer harvest was about 180,000 deer: 89,000 bucks and 91,200 does.
These totals are 14 % below the 2004 season harvest.

It's colder and while the experts say that temp has nothing to do with the rut my experience has shown me that cold weather early on makes for a better deer season.
