cut up peeled potatoes, into chunks, put in pot
cover with water at least 3-4 inches above potatoes
add stick of butter
salt & pepper to taste
cook 10 minutes un-covered

Dumplin's

Bisquick 4 cups
flour, all purpose 1 cup
milk, 1- 1 1/2 cups to make stiff dough

drop by spoonfuls into potatos
cook 20 minutes, covered
stirring regularly

Wonder if it would work to cover spoonfuls of tater in the dough and drop it in the deep fryer. . . . .

Sounds good anyway ya look at it.

I'm sure it would, just take more time and you wouln't get the potatoes & dumplin juice as with this old recipe
