Have you ever had a bow before?
The hard thing is a bow needs to be set up specifically for the shooter. Draw length, peep position etc. Many bows need to have the entire cam or a module changed to set the draw length. If the bow is more than 5 years old they can sometimes be hard to get. Also to get a used bow set up to a new shooter can often get into a fair amount of money.
With out specific model, year, draw weight it is hard to say much.
Many of the Jennings bows are a lower end, inexpensive bow. Not that they are bad, just not always top of the line.

I shoot a Jennings Buckmaster G-2. I bought it new in 2001 and I love it. It has been a great bow for me. It's accurate, comfortable and quick. I am very pleased with it and have no desire switch. It has taken many animals including Pope and Young whitetail and blackbear.
