I am currently negotiating with a major national outdoor organization to develop a program which will afford people with disabilities, like myself, the chance to pursue their love of hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities to a greater extent. The geographical focus of this program will be Rochester NY and the counties in close proximity.

Two obvious questions have arisen, namely "how much of an interest, in the physically challenged community, is there for such a program and is there enough able-bodied support available to assist in its development?"

If the responses to these questions are positive then resources will be made available to initiate the program. It is conceivable that several national outdoor organizations and sponsors will participate in this venture.

Within two weeks, I would like to be able to answer those questions by presenting a database of individuals who are eager to see this concept become a reality.

I need your help:
(1) If you are or know of an individual with a physical disability wanting to participate in outdoor activities relative to fishing and the shooting sports, please respond; or,

(2) If you are an able-bodied individual willing to assist the physically challenged pursue these activities, please respond; and,

(3) If you have a business and may want to support this opportunity by tax deductible donations of money, merchandise, or services please respond.

I will need to know if you have a disability, your Yahoo user identity and real name. An address and phone number will be additionally helpful to me should I not be able to reach you on-line.

There is not much yet that is definite as the concept is in its start-up stage. Perhaps you would like to add your input for consideration. Please feel free to do that in your response.

Thank You

"how much of an interest, in the physically challenged community, is there for such a program and is there enough able-bodied support available to assist in its development?" My guess is that the intrest would be the same as able bodyed people. Why wouldnt there be, disabled people are .people too, ya know:) . The disability in question might be an issue?
The manpower for developement would take some work, but Im sure it would be worth it.
