I would appreciate anyone saying a prayer for my wife and her immediate family, last Friday morning, Roy, my father-in-law, had a stroke at his home at 3 a.m., he's been in the hospital since then, he's never regained consciousness, yesterday, Hospice took over, so it's just a matter of time. I just wanted to say I'll miss him very, very much. We deer hunted together, and bear hunted together in Canada, He's been more like a father to me since my father passed in 1989, we always had a beer or two when we went to visit, out in the garage by the woodstove, and talk about his grandchildren, and his only Great-grand child, Haylee " Termite", my grand daughter and hunting. I haven't went to the hospital, because he wouldn't know I was there, and I want to remember him as he was and not in the present condition May God bless him and keep him
Larry

Sorry to hear about his current condition, but I am glad to hear that the two of you had some really good times while he was healthy.

Larry, sounds like Roy is more than your father in law, hes a hunting partner and a true friend. As the years pass I find more and more that I, like you, tend to want to remember my friends as they were in there healthier days and also have trouble telling them good bye. Thoughts and prayers will be with Roy and you and your family

Just a note of thank you to everyone of their thoughts and prayers. I got a call from my wife last night, Roy passed on around 10 p.m. on April 5, 2006, he would've had his 83 birthday next week, April 12th. I'm sure if there's a hunters heaven, he's sitting around the campfire with others that have passed before. God Bless you and keep you Roy
