Does anybody hunt jacks in michigan? Specificly Northern Lower Peninsula? Not lookin for anybodies secret spot, just a general area.

Welcome to HC Squirrelstalkr. I assume you're talking about jackrabbits? And if so, I have never seen any in Michigan. On the other hand, if you're referring to Snowshoe Hare, I hunted a lot of them years ago when I lived there. They go in cycles like Pats, nature's way of controlling population and predators. Anyway, find just about any cedar swamp North of West Branch and there are snowshoes. Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm learning a lot from this site. I did mean jackrabbits also, sorry, still a little new at this. Thanks for the info on the rabbits, I will keep it in mind.

where theres prarie thell be rabbits, i lived in south dakota for 3 years and saw my share of bunnies, but i was to young to hunt them
