Here is a picture of the wolf I shot last Saturday in the Mountains near my house (near being 70 miles east). One shot from my .300 RUM and the "dishes were done".
We were actually out looking for bears, but as you will see in the picture, it is still winter here.

The carcass minus the head, hide and feet was 86 pounds. Total weight will be somewhere around 100-105lbs, I think. We have a 5 wolf limit in our area that runs from Aug. 10-April 30. On a trapping license, I believe there is no limit. After it was skinned, the wolf was 7ft. 1 inch, nose to tail.

The total, official weight on that wolf was 111 pounds. He is at the taxidermist and will be made into a full rug.
