I'm new to this site. I live in Adamsville, TN and just wanted to see how many others from TN are out there. I'm a Hardwood Lumber Trader/Grader. And enjoy catching, killing, and eating anything with fur, fins, or feathers in my spare time.

There are a few of us..I live in the Gallatin, Lebanon area..been trying to get someone to start a TN Sporting website..none there so I hang out here sometime..It's a GREAT site. You are in east TN right??
I deerhunt and troutfish the Caney Fork..mainly..and raise Mtn feists..Birdhunt some...
Isn't TN a wonderful state so many hunting and fishing opportunities here..
Only sad thing..our area is growing so fast that I have lost several of my old places to hunt..so not go to Fort Campbell, LBL and hunt many public hunting areas.. We have to drive further to find wild quail in any abundance..They are suffering too from all the growth......

No I'm in west TN. About 45 miles south of Jackson. I'm a 2 hour drive from Nashville or Memphis. Yeah, great place to live. But I've never lived outside of west TN. I bet having those Mtn. Fiest are fun. I've got a 11 month old W & L Elhew Pointer Female. She was supposed to go to the trainer this week. But someone stole her brother which is my uncles dog. And he was paying the training fees. So now I don't know what I'm going to do. If he doesn't get another pointer I would like to find someone who raises Labs but needed a pointer and could work out a trade. I've always wanted a squirrel dog but right now where I live it would be impossible to have more than one dog. And being that I duck hunt more than anything I should get a Lab. My sister and her husband live a little closer to you. (south of franklin) Her husband seems to be a big hunter but he hasn't killed a deer in the past 2 years I've known him. So for her sake I'm glad there are grocery stores. Glad I finallly got a response on here. Talk to you soon.

Pointers are the best! We've had them and raised them..Check out the liver and white on the TSC (Tractor Supply house brand
high protien dog food bag( one of ours), HANK..If you should decide you would want a squirrel dog later give me a call..They are small and you can keep them indoors. I may know someone interested in your pointer if you decide you want to trade him..They would buy him..They don't have any labs..Not many people here duckhunt as there are in WTN..but I know some. Mainly deerhunting, and birdhunting..(quail).

There is not reason why someone cannot kill at least one deer a year here in TN unless they just don't have a place to hunt (and there are WMA's available for that) You can kill up to three does a day for a total of 90 if you want!! I am happy too for their sake that there are grocery stores:D . Take care.

Once I figure out what I'm going to do I'll either post some pics on here or email them to you. So they can see the dog to see if they are interested.

I'm in middle TN Man In Black. I love to hunt waterfowl but middle TN isn't the place to do that: slim pickin's most of the time. I usually hunt ducks/geese in AR. Deer hunting is good here, but also in the western states. Looks like we'll get to draw for Elk tags in 2008. Only 5 will be available but I believe 3 of them will go to organizations to auction or raffle in order to raise more money for our Elk project. I also hunt in Africa and that ruins a guy. You see more game in one day than we usually see in years here in the States. The variety seems to be unlimited. South Africa has around 16 species of duck and two geese. You can hunt Egyptian geese year round but duck season is in May/June: their winter. Good hunting, grayghost
