Holosights that is!

I am wanting some opinions on this....

I am planning to purchase a Remington 870 12 guage shotgun...

Going for tactical....folding stock, 8 round magazine, parkerized...that type of thing.

So I really want to top it with an EOTech Holosight.

Looks sharp, fast target aquisition, looks cool, excellent reviews, did I mention the cool factor? And I'll be the first kid on the block with one!

Thinking of going with the model 553 and am just wondering if anyone here has any experience with these sights? Get me some reviews to make sure I am making the right model choice.

Thanx in advance guys!!

Heres a linky for those not in the know.....
And if anybody knows of a good Canadian dealer feel free to let me know!!

Well, the truth is that I know nothing about the sight, and have no idea what you are planning to do with yours, but I think you should at least consider how cool you will look with that set up.;)

Hey Captain2k-ca
I'm no expert on the holo sight, don't have one but those folks over on the AR15.COM web site use a lot of them and may be able to give you the info your looking for. Folks who have them seem to like them and from what I understand they are well made. MC

Seriously though, the only reddot sights I considered were ones that could accept some kind of dust/rain/snow covers over the lenses.
Like the Aimpoint Comp-series. Put one on an AR and 870. Here is an older photo.
Cap, that store is just down the road from me. Their sister company, The Fire Store, is where I've gotten alot of my fire/ems gear.
