Certainly not me. This is probably the epitome of a gun that hurts the same on both ends.:D You think the maker has seen one too many Hollyweird movies?

Seems pretty ridiculous. I'm tryin to figure out it's purpose! I also wonder what the ballistics would be like? The gun isn't much longer than the cartridge so i wonder just what kind of velocity that thing generates?

i was reading on the ruger forum this morning about an 80 caliber pistol built on a weatherby multi lug rifle action. i shot so much silhoutte years ago that i got arthritis in every bone from the elbow down. i can about imagine what those two pistols? would do to you.

i want my mommy.

Purpose is probably to challenge some guys on paint ball. Figure "close" would be close enough . . . Waidmannsheil, Dom. :D

Sad thing is that some people will buy something like that if it is produced.

I found a place one line that load 700 gn. bullets for the .500 S&W. They claim 1,200 fps. from a factory handgun. That round has a TKO 3 lbs. less that the max. load listed for a 400 gn. bullet in a .458 Win. mag. in my Serria manual. I don`t really see a need for one of the .50 BMG handguns, but if my .500 S&W doesn`t kill the mice I have around here I may have to give one a try. ;)

If this is the first .50 BMG handgun to be marketed, it could have negative legal implications. As I recall, a bunch of 7.62 X 39 mm ammo became illegal when a handgun was introduced that could fire it. Maybe it was a full-auto handgun.

No it wasn't a full auto. It is crazy **** like this .50 BMG handgun that causes the antigunners to go into a feeding frenzy. The reasoning behind the illegilization of that 7.63 x 39 was because once there was a handgun available to fire the ammo in, it was cnsidered to be armor peircing handgun ammo. Just like that 50 BMG ammo will be if they make that handgun. Armor peircing rifle ammo hasn't been made illegal, armor peircing handgun ammo is. there for if they creat a handgun that will fire a FMJ rifle round then it becomes illegal.

That is the same battle that the anti's fought over the 5.7 FiveSeven ammo. It is "technically" a small rifle round and when they chambered it in the P-90 which is a pistol the ammo is then considered armor piercing handgun ammo.........
