Ok guys since the biscuits went over well, I think you will like this too...its easy and you probably have everything in your pantry...
I have seen cobblers made as easy or as complicated as you want but to me...this is the simplest and quick..
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup "self-rising flour
3/4 cup milk
28 ounce can peaches, pears cherries, apples hell anything you want
preheat oven to 350 degrees, put butter in deep baking dish to melt..mix sugar and flour, slowly add milk to flour mixture, slowly so it wont lump, do not stir..spoon canned fruit on top, slowing pouring in the syrup...bake 30 to 45 minutes, add ice cream and you can throw that diet thread we have out the window...
