how to adjust a ruger M77 (old style) trigger

Hoping I can find some info on adjusting the trigger on my 1985 ruger m77 with adjustable trigger. Have searched high and low with no success. all roads lead to replacing it only. If it was adjustable from ruger how do I go about it?
