I happened across 2 dozen Sillosock snow goose decoys on E-bay awhile back. We have used them along the edge of ponds with a few floaters set out and they have proven to be just the ticket for late season snows in my area. In the 05/06 season we made four hunts in late December/early January with eight geese bagged. Not a lot by some folks standards, but killing late season snows with only 27 decoys set out sure impressed me! Of course, I must add that our calling played a big roll in the success of the hunts, as well.
At any rate, I understand that the decoys are no longer plastic bodies. Certainly, there is negligable differance in weight between the old style and the new. But, out of curiousity, has anyone used the new Tyvek series? Do they compare to the movement of the older style in a breeze?
Thanks for your input!

If there's anything better for the money, we haven't found it. The new models are great: no shine, no noise (like plastic) move in the slightest breeze and the new inner liner keeps them "full body" in no wind. For the money they are hard to beat. Of all the snow dekes we've tried, they do the best job. We no longer say "kill 'em" "take 'em" or the like. Just "kill Whitey!" :D
