This truck. These are shots from a video game but I am trying to figure out what real life truck they used for the model. . . . . just bored.

Goodolboy, this truck has got me stumped. The hood and front fenders look like a Chevrolet, Cab looks like a Ford, and the grill like a Desoto, it has to be a late 40's model or earlier 50's because of the 2 piece windshield, but then again, there's no side window vents on the doors! Maybe it's a Hmmmmmmmmmmm
.... A Hummer! I don't know. It looks like a combination of vehicles

Yeah I figure it is, but I know I have seen a truck that looks very similar somewhere before. . . . . has me stumped.

GREAT REAL vehicles, But the two piece windshield and no side window vents on the model is really puzzleing! Sometime after 52 they made one piece windshields

Yeah I know like I said I am bored. Anyway I am stil looking. Two piece windshields are older, and one piece windows are newer so. . .. . .

Good luck , if you find out what it is for sure. Post it. I'm like you, it looks familiar, just can't put a finger on it. It's like putting something in the attic, you know what it looks like and what it is but you can't remember what year you put it there, ..........
just like being 3 fries short of a Happy Meal, eh ?

Yup, I'm bored too otherwise I wouldn't say anything.

My read on the pic is that it is all of the above. When someone renders models especially for games they have a free license to mix and match.

The fella that did this job was super successful in appealing to a wide range of addience as can be seen by the number of responses to this thread.

I've never seen a truck exactly like it but it reminds me of every truck I've ever seen prior to the first square chevy pickups. The square ones I think came out in '54 or '55 though not sure.

It's a combination of about 8 years worth of Chevys. It resembles from '55 up to and including '63. There's a strong hint of 63 in the door and roof panels and I must include...I can't believe I'm actually participating in this thread! :D

I don't see the International in it nor the Willy's. Willy's had flat fenders and panels with a rounded roof panel. I had a '55 p/u for years. ;)
