I have recently tried remingtons 50gr hp bullets in .223 for woodchucks. they seem to do a nice job on them so far.in my rifle, they are very accurate.
what I would like to know is, have you ever used them, and what are your thoughts as far as woodchucks and coyotes effectability.:D

I think Your on the right coarse with a 50 grain bullet.I prefer the 45 Gr. hollow point from Sierra I have had great luck on Both Coyotes and Rock Chuck with the 45 grainer's as I get more velocity out of them.REMEMBER SPEED KILLS!:D
Thats my story and I'm Stickin to it!

If your happy with the accuracy stick with them. I usually get better accuracy with Serria bullets. I shot the Blitz bullets at groundhogs, but think the are to explosive for coyote. The Rem. bullets you useing will do well on both.

Ok, those 52gr bthp match bullets work great on woodchucks.farthest one shot was 294yds. it did some real damage to it.
I reload them with 24.5gr IMR 3031 powder. its a very accurate round.
:)
