What type of bullet puller do you guys out there think is the best? The inertia style or the cam lock style like the one from Hornady. Just looking for opinions.

The inerta types are a lot of work if you have to pull more then a couple bullets. I`ve the RCBS collet type and like it. But the locking system takes time too. I would have to look real hard at the cam lock. I think they would be easier to work then the collet type like my RCBS.

I think the inertia type do less damage to the bullets. Seems like my collet type scratches the bejabbers out of the bullets and leaves them very unsightly.
If you get too energetic witht he enertia type, you can damgae the cases, especially the rimless type. Guess you just can't have everything. :(

I use both. If I only have one or two to pull, I'll use an inertia "hammer" style, but if I have a bunch, then the collett style wins hands down.
BTW, use your regular shellholder instead of the spring-held jaws that come with an inertia puller. MUCH easier and quicker.

I also use the inertia puller on one or two. I use the RCBS collet bullet puller on groups. I prefer the collet puller and I have no problem with scratched bullets, but, I do have a full set of collets.

I have a Quinetics bullet puller I've used for years. It's quite good if somewhat slow. You'd be advised to put some cotton batting in thew pullers nose to keep from deforming the pulled bullets. Best wishes.
