Well Fabs...my mama been sayin that I dont go to church enough. So i decided to go..only to be invited to preach after the preacher seen me ring the head of 3 of them snakes they had. Hey...in church or no...them moccosins can kill ya..they musta snuck in a open winder er somethin. Musta been a nest of em come to think bout it..cause on counta...there was bout 50 of them dam things in the sunday school class! Anyways...I seen em and I rung their neck...and all them people started hollerin and carryin on...next thing I know...i'm up on the alter. Well...I reckon I gave a good sermon..I was talkin bout bein good, not killin er stealin and all that happy crap..and all them people was spellbound. Thought I had a booger on my nose er somethin the way they was starin at me. :rolleyes: Well I left em speechless...cept fer the old lady who was bawlin like a baby and throwin herself on the floor. I still aint got nary idea what in the hell was wrong with her...and every time I asked her what was wrong...she cried harder and flailed around like a fish outta water...so I got outta there.

Next day I drove through...and there was the sign :D

I called my nephew in southern Va last Sunday from the goose field.

His wife answered and chewed me out for hunting and not being in church on Sunday morning. I told her I was spending Sunday morning enjoying what God had given me to enjoy, a beautiful sunrise and watching the world come alive.

I had to put down the phone a couple times to take a couple geese.


Maybe my name is on there church sign now. Just because you can't hunt on Sunday in Va doesn't mean you can't in Michigan.

LILRED knows that from experience. She just can't read so she couldn't figure out our other wonderful regulations.
