Jack Russell puppies F/S

A friend of mine has raised Jack Russell Terrier's for some time. Her pair had a litter of 3 pups 4 weeks ago and I just bought the male. They will be ready to go soon. Two females are left and she is also going to have to part with her adult pair as she has had surgery and can't care for them as she normally does. They are registered JRT's and from good hunting stock. I saw just how well JRT's work when I was in Africa over the summer. These dogs are in middle Tennessee and she has them priced very fair. I wouldn't mind a JRT but don't think my Boxer would like it much. She keeps busy being the boss to my two daughters dogs..a black lab and a springer mix..It's like having the 3 stooges over for the day when they are together.. For more information, just what are JRT bread to hunt?...I got to watch them race the rabbit on a cable the other day and it was one of the funniest things I ever seen...especially at the end when 5 dogs going full blast followed the bunny in the hole and tried to enter all at the same time...lmao..I do like them but for speed, the fastest thing in 4 wheel drive I ever seen was a rat terrier...A friend has 2 and I can't believe how they can run...like a blink of an eye...loving on one hand but bite the heck out of the other..What is the temperament of the JRT?

Skeeter, JRTs will hunt anything you want to hunt. I have one and have had several others. They are equal opportunity dogs. They will hunt and kill anything they can find, unless you got em scoped on one animal and they will do that too. This little girl I have right now, if she had legs longer than 3", she couldnt be outrun or whipped. She doesnt know how to quit. Sweet as pie to people and hell on wheels on game.

They are terriers, that means ground dogs. They love to dig and work burrows. I use her with my two Airedales and its a great combo. They work together well. If the targets in a small place, the JRT will work and work to get in and all hell will break loose. The animal comes out, the Airedales catch and all three dive on to kill. If you get them on groundhogs, you better have a shovel handy in case they go in after it and cant get out. True story.

They hunt rabbits, tree squirrels, tree coons, catch coons, toll coyotes and any other animal you want to hunt them for. Like I said, equal opportunity dogs. Oh, and they hate cats as much as I do. Great for blood trailing wounded deer and such too.

I love my terriers, big and little.

There are Terriers, and then there are Scotties.
Recently, the wife and I took in two rescue Skye Terriers. These dogs are a hoot. Fast, agile, and fearless. They are getting used to us, we are getting used to them. They are a lot like my beloved Scotties in temperment.
Here they are on their first entry into their new home. The laddie, Fergus is the lighter colored dog. Fiona, his sister is the darker one.
