I only had a day and a half to hunt so I had to take this one home with me.I seen 8 bulls and I decide to take this one because I had to be on the road home in a couple of hours for thanksgiving dinner.

I got a Cow in Wyo unit 5.
I got it on my 3rd day of hunting.

We then hunted elk hard for 7 days and never saw an elk. We did however see 4 of the world famous "reintroduced" (transplanted & forced upon us) non-indiginous Canadian Greys.

I assume and strongly believe they are why I/we (7 of us) saw not 1 Elk.
We glassed for hours & tromped the dark timber, never cutting fresh sign. :( :mad:

We've been hunting the Dubois, WY area for years. We decided we'd not return next year. We'll find another spot to hunt, one without wolves!

The Dubois businesses we won't spend our $'s at next year can thank the Greenies, the USPS. USFWS and the USFS :rolleyes: .
Dubois businesses are dieing. The RamsHorn Bar & Restaurant closed this year. I can't remember how long it had been in business, forever it seemed, but it's gone now. Gone along with a bunch of others too. "For Sale" signs are in abundance. Local outfitters are being told to advertise "Wolf sighting trips" instead of hunting.
